Over the years, Dr. Koch has assembled a wonderful team of talented, amiable people from the Jasper area. Many have studied dentistry at leading dental institutions, such as the Dental Boot Kamp. All of us are dedicated to providing you with an extraordinary level of personalized care.
Eric R. Koch, DDS, PC
Born in Galveston, Texas, Eric R. Koch came from a family of medical professionals. As a young boy in Beaumont, Texas, his visits to his uncle’s dental practice interested him in a career in dentistry.
Dr. Koch attended the University of Dallas and Louisiana State University before enrolling at the University of Texas, Houston. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery there in 1987. He worked as an associate with his uncle, Bill Cutberth, for one year and practiced in Houston before moving to Jasper to open his current practice.
While he has extensive expertise in general dentistry, Dr. Koch enjoys keeping up with the latest research and technology. A life-long learner, he has enrolled in a variety of continuing education institutions, including the Misch Implant Institute.
Dr. Koch is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Sabine District Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Society of Osseointegration, and the Academy of General Practice Orthodontics. He is also a fellow at the Misch Implant Institute and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he received a Diplomate of ICOI, the highest honor from this organization.
Dr. Koch and his wife, Melody, enjoy spending time together with their son and daughter. Dr. Koch also loves to fly his Beechcraft-Bonanza and volunteers his time with Angel Flight, an organization which provides free, private air transportation to people facing medical challenges or having other compelling needs.
Our Team
Our dental hygienist, Marci, does a wonderful job making sure your teeth are clean and your gums are healthy. She follows the latest in hygiene research and is always happy to pass on brushing or flossing tips to you. She enjoys spending time with her three boys, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Our financial coordinator, Mylette, started working for Dr. Koch in February 2001. With more than 19 years experience in her field, Mylette can help you when you have problems with dental insurance and financing. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
Paula is one of our clinical assistants. She is certified in digital radiography and has advanced training on CEREC. She is married and enjoys spending time with her daughter and watching her play softball. She also enjoys shopping and hanging out at the beach.
DaLonna is our other clinical assistant. She is certified in digital radiography and has advanced training on CEREC. She is married and has three boys. She enjoys attending church, football and baseball games, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Kay is our sterilization tech. For seven years, she has been sterilizing our instruments and equipment before and after your visit. She and her husband have two daughters and five grandchildren.
